Getting started

Sign in, create your first company, and find your way around.

e-Hansa is simple accounting and CRM software for small businesses - multi-company, multi-market, and ready in your language.

What you can do

  • Sales: customers, quotes, sales orders and invoices - Quote → Sales order → Invoice, with payments and PDFs.
  • Purchasing: suppliers, purchase orders, vendor bills, and out-of-pocket expense reports for reporting persons.
  • Warehouse: stock items with automatic FIFO costing, live stock value, reservations and incoming stock.
  • Accounting: a real double-entry journal and ledger, a configurable tax engine, VAT declarations that close the period, and financial reports.
  • Fixed assets: an asset register with straight-line depreciation, bought on bills and sold on invoices.
  • Payroll: employees, pay runs with Estonian taxes built in, payslips, and paying out net wages and taxes.

Signing in

e-Hansa uses Google sign-in, so there are no passwords to manage. Click “Sign in with Google”, choose your account, and you're in. Your first sign-in creates your account automatically.

Create your first company

  1. Open the company switcher at the top-left of the menu bar.
  2. Choose “Create company”.
  3. Enter a name and pick your market (e.g. Estonia).
  4. That's it - your chart of accounts, default currency and VAT rates are set up for you.

Finding your way around

  • The top menu groups everything by area - Sales & CRM, Purchasing, Accounting, and so on.
  • The “+” button (top-left) creates anything quickly - an invoice, a bill, a payment, a customer.
  • The search box finds invoices, bills, customers, accounts and more from anywhere (press ⌘/Ctrl-K).
  • The Dashboard shows your cash, what you're owed and owe, profit, and recent activity at a glance.
  • Rows in any list are ordinary links - right-click for “Open in new tab”, or ctrl/cmd-click, to check one document while you work in another.

One login can manage several companies. Each company keeps its data in its own private database, and you can switch between them anytime from the menu bar.
